Winter Wonderland

 

Sharing my love of decorating, especially at Christmas, is always a treat. After a short call with the client, I knew the the venue would be the key to creating the design for this event. They needed something different, something hip…a place that speaks for itself. Bridgestreet Gallery and Loft fit the bill with the exposed brick, the all-white décor, and sleek lines. I knew instantly this was the perfect setting for this Winter Wonderland.

As the brainstorming began, it was a quick decision that the centerpiece would be an array desserts, white and silver Christmas trees with a hint of old world wood {for the boys}. From there the ideas flowed.

The entrance was adorned with silver balloons, a welcome sign and a fun photo booth area to share the memories of the evening.

The silver and white linens from BBJ Linens made the room flow. With the additional touch of a few silver menu signs, candles and a hot chocolate bar filled up the downstairs space. The house step-n-repeat lounge area added a little nod to the host.

The upstairs décor was completed with a mix of old world wood, white, silver and light blue covered the tables with a mix of silver, ornaments, trees and candles. The café lights added the twinkle light effect to the Winter Wonderland theme as the band played.
