Last Minute Christmas Hosting Quick Tips:

1. CENTERPIECE
Create a centerpiece on the table – whether it is a few candles in differing heights with greenery around them or a more elaborate centerpiece, they all make the table feel inviting.

2. CREATE A MENU
Use a mini chalkboard or print out a menu and put it in a frame for dinner and dessert. Add some greenery or a bow to make it festive.

2.PRE-SET THE TABLE
To save time and to make a “grand entrance” to your family or guests, pre-set the table with chargers, plates, silverware, glasses and napkins.

3. HAVE A SEPERATE DESSERT AREA
This is a cost effective decorating idea than you can incorporate with the meal. Set out the dessert on pretty trays on a kitchen island, separate table or on a kitchen bar and add some small plates and cocktail napkins, some greenery, some candles.

4. PLAY CHRISTMAS MUSIC
Add some Christmas music in the background. This encourages people to relax and enjoy themselves.

5. MAKE A LIST
Make a list of what needs to be done to make the meal and at what time. This keeps you on track and not forgetting the salad in the refrigerator.

Merry Christmas and Happy Party’ing!
